Account deletion
Delete your Loper account.
Loper, from Loper, Inc., is a free app for exploring colleges, majors, and careers. You can delete your Loper account yourself in the app, or ask us by email to delete your account and your personal information, with or without the app.
In the Loper app.
- Open the Loper app and go to Settings.
- Tap Account Details.
- Tap Delete Account, then confirm.
Once you confirm, your account is closed and you can't sign in to it again. To use Loper again, you'll need to create a new account. To have your personal information deleted as well, email us as below.
Without the app.
Email us and ask us to delete your account and the personal information we have collected about you: [email protected]
To verify your identity before we act on a request, we may ask you to confirm information that we have on file about you or your interactions with us.
What is deleted, and what we keep.
You may request deletion of personal information that we no longer need to provide the Services or for other lawful purposes.
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, while we have a business need to do so, or as required by law (e.g. for tax, legal, accounting, or other purposes), whichever is longer.
In some instances a request may be limited, such as where fulfilling it would impair the rights of others, our ability to provide a service you have requested, or our ability to comply with our legal obligations and enforce our legal rights.
